The central tile and the grid can be put out of the way in a facility under the table. The fireplace has a big ashpan and needs practically no emptying. Charcoal and wood hardly leave remainders after being burnt. The tabletop is not susceptible to frost or stains. When the fire burns the space under the table is nice and warm too.
