As a child I was intrigued by a padded cushion because it was miraculously the same on both sides and the studs seemed invisibly fastened. Instead of the studs I have inserted sieves as they are used in kitchen sinks, with screws on both sides. In spite of this curious combination the cushion is comfortable to sit on.
